Lee records a digital-voyeurism arrest after a bathroom complaint at a North Fort Myers truck stop

The WINK News Digital Team reported that Lee County deputies responded to a truck stop on Park 78 Drive after a complaint about filming inside the men's room.

WINK attributes its account to the Lee County Sheriff's Office. The outlet reported that deputies made an arrest Wednesday after reviewing videos on a phone.

The Lee County Sheriff's Office booking record lists four charges under Circuit Court case 26CF017560: evidence tampering in a criminal proceeding, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, digital voyeurism, and possession or use of drug equipment. The record lists a November 2 hearing.

The charges are allegations and have not been adjudicated. The reported incident is over, and no public safety order or active search remains in effect.
