About
A daily record of what happened in tax, finance, and economics, who found it first, and what it changes for you.
The publication
Money & World covers tax, accounting, finance, economics, technology, personal finance, small business, and the world events that move them.
We report original analysis on policy and markets, and we track what the reporters breaking news across this beat are finding, credit them by name, and link the documents underneath their work.
The publication is built on three commitments, and they are the whole of our editorial identity:
We say who found it first. When a story here originates in another newsroom's reporting, the reporter and the outlet are named in the first two sentences and linked. Not buried, not laundered into "reports say."
We link the document. Every story points at the primary source: the actual notice, filing, statement, or docket entry. Financial journalism runs on people describing documents to each other, and precision is lost at every retelling. We publish the last link in that chain and the first one together.
We answer what it changes. An event is not news because it occurred. It is news because of what it does to a mortgage, a payroll, a quarterly estimate, a balance sheet. Every story here ends with that answer.
Who is responsible
Money & World is published by Creative Corner Agency LLC, a Florida limited liability company, in Naples, Florida.
Editorial responsibility for everything on this site rests with the editor of Money & World, who can be reached at editor@moneyandworld.com.
Staff stories publish under the newsroom rather than under individual names. This is a deliberate choice explained in full in our Editorial Standards: the institution stands behind each piece, the judgment expressed is the publication's, and our work is offered to be verified rather than taken on the strength of a résumé. Every claim we make links to the document it came from, precisely so that you never have to take our word for it. Contributed essays and columns are always signed.
The company is privately held.
Independence and conflicts
Money & World is editorially independent. Advertisers, sponsors, and commercial partners have no input into coverage, no advance sight of stories, and no influence over what we publish.
Our publisher has business interests outside this publication. They do not direct coverage and they do not receive advance sight of it. Where we write about a company, a firm, or a person our publisher has a commercial relationship with, we say so at the top of the story. Full detail is in our Editorial Standards.
How we work
Our sourcing, attribution, correction, fairness, and AI-use standards are published in full at Editorial Standards. Every correction we have ever issued is listed at Corrections.
Not advice
Nothing on this site is investment, tax, legal, or financial advice. We report what happened and what it changes in general terms. What you should do about it depends on facts about your situation that we do not know.
