A proposed 355-unit apartment building at Coconut Point Mall will go before Estero's Planning, Zoning & Design Board at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 20, according to the village's October 16 hearing notice. The applicant also seeks a parking deviation.
The four-story building is proposed for the mall parking lot at the former Regal movie theater site, south of Target and north of The Residences at Coconut Point. The notice describes a request awaiting a hearing, not an approved development.
The meeting is at Village Hall, 9401 Corkscrew Palms Circle. Residents can use the village's meeting and public-comment links to watch remotely or submit an eComment. Written comments must arrive by noon the day before the meeting, Monday, October 19. They will be distributed to the board but not read aloud.
Our Coconut Point apartment project page will record documented decisions as they become available. Find related reporting on the Estero desk.
