Cleveland Avenue at Franklin Street in Fort Myers reopened Friday afternoon after a three-vehicle crash blocked two northbound lanes, according to the Fort Myers Police Department. Tyler Watkins at Gulf Coast News reported the crash.

The department initially urged drivers to use another route while officers worked at the intersection. Its update, marked 4:28 p.m. on October 16, reported the roadway open.

That update ends the earlier lane-closure notice for this incident. The police post does not provide a cause for the crash or identify the drivers involved.
