The proposal

The Village of Estero's October 16 notice describes a four-story, 355-unit multifamily building proposed for Coconut Point Mall's parking lot at the former Regal movie theater site. The location is south of Target and north of The Residences at Coconut Point. The applicant also requests a parking deviation.

The notice establishes a proposal and hearing date. It does not report an approval or a construction start date.

Hearing and written comments

The Planning, Zoning & Design Board hearing is scheduled for October 20, 2026 at 4:30 p.m., at Village Hall, 9401 Corkscrew Palms Circle, Estero. The village provides meeting materials, streaming and eComment links.

Written eComments must arrive by noon October 19. The village says they will be distributed to the board but not read at the meeting.
