Florida Highway Patrol now says the roadway is clear after a crash on southbound Interstate 75 at mile marker 142 in North Fort Myers, according to the FHP live incident board.
Earlier direct reads showed a roadblock at mile marker 140 and a separate debris entry at mile marker 141. Neither earlier row appeared in a 3:21 p.m. read. The newer crash entry carries the same two timestamps as the earlier mile 140 entry, but the board does not explicitly say whether it is an update to the same incident.
The crash entry first appeared between direct reads of the state board at 3:05 and 3:09 p.m. Sunday. It still listed debris in the center lane at 3:44 p.m. A 4:41 p.m. read changed the remark to ROADWAY IS CLEAR.
FHP does not list an injury classification, vehicle count, cause or detour. The entry does not describe the object that was in the roadway.
