Southbound Daniels Parkway is blocked at Six Mile Cypress after a fatal crash, FHP says

All southbound lanes of Daniels Parkway and the northbound inside lane are blocked at Six Mile Cypress Parkway after a fatal crash, according to the Florida Highway Patrol live incident board.

The patrol recorded the call at 3:56 p.m. Saturday. FHP initially classified it as a vehicle crash with injuries and a roadblock, then changed the classification to a fatality. The state entry does not identify the person who died or say how many vehicles are involved.

FHP initially listed a complete roadblock in the intersection. By 4:33 p.m., the board listed all southbound lanes and the northbound inside lane as blocked. Drivers should choose another route and expect delays.

The state board does not list a cause, detour or estimated clearing time.
