FHP clears a southbound I-75 crash from its board after moving it to mile marker 128

Florida Highway Patrol no longer lists the southbound Interstate 75 crash at mile marker 128 in Fort Myers as of 2:58 a.m. Eastern Tuesday. The patrol first placed the same crash at mile marker 130, briefly removed it, then returned it at the revised location with the right lane blocked.

Florida Highway Patrol no longer lists a southbound Interstate 75 crash that had blocked the right lane at mile marker 128 in Fort Myers on its live incident board.

The patrol first listed the crash at mile marker 130. The row briefly disappeared, then returned at mile marker 128 with the same three board timestamps and the same right-lane restriction.

Repeated direct checks through 11:58 p.m. Eastern found the revised entry on populated statewide boards. A fresh check at 2:58 a.m. Tuesday returned a populated board without the Lee County crash. The removal means FHP no longer lists the incident as active; it does not establish exactly when or how the scene cleared.

The patrol did not publish a vehicle count, injury information, cause, detour or clearing estimate. Its last verified listing placed the incident at mile marker 128 rather than mile marker 130.
