The disruption remains active.
The Federal Aviation Administration's live status feed had equipment-outage ground stops active for flights bound for John F. Kennedy International Airport through 6:30 p.m. Eastern and LaGuardia Airport through 6:15 p.m. when Money & World checked at 5:40 p.m. Monday.
Newark Liberty International Airport, Philadelphia International Airport and Teterboro Airport were operating under ground-delay programs attributed to the same equipment outage. The FAA feed listed average assigned delays of 306 minutes at Newark, 212 minutes at Philadelphia and 159 minutes at Teterboro, but those figures can change as programs are revised.
Boston Logan's separate delay program was attributed to low ceilings, not the equipment outage. Travelers on affected routes should use current airline information because the FAA can revise or extend each restriction.
