I-75 exit 80 construction closure no longer appears on FHP board

The construction closure on the northbound Interstate 75 exit ramp at SR-29, exit 80 in Collier County, no longer appears on the Florida Highway Patrol incident board. Earlier Thursday, the board listed the ramp as fully closed for construction.

At Collier Boulevard in Naples, FHP earlier listed three left lanes closed on the southbound exit 101 ramp and a left-lane blockage on the northbound exit ramp. Those entries also disappeared from the board. The earlier southbound restriction differed from the two right lanes listed in our October 13 report.

The removals do not establish reopening times or confirm that all work has finished. The entries concerned ramps and did not establish an interstate mainline closure. Drivers can consult FHP's live board for current conditions and follow posted work-zone directions.
