Collier County has recorded 113 measles cases in 2026 through September 12, according to Florida's latest weekly disease report. That is three more than the state counted through August 29. The report does not identify where the new cases live within the county or list exposure sites.

Collier County has now recorded 113 measles cases in 2026 through September 12, according to the latest Florida Department of Health disease table for county residents.
Liz Freeman at the Naples Daily News reported the increase Thursday morning. Money & World confirmed the count in the Florida Department of Health's interactive disease report.
The state table returns 113 cases among Collier County residents from January 1 through September 12. Running the same report through August 29 returns 110, confirming the increase of three.
What the figures show
The health department says the numbers are preliminary and may change as cases are investigated and validated. Its report includes confirmed and probable cases and assigns them by county of residence, regardless of where a person was exposed, diagnosed or treated.
The county table does not identify where the three people live within Collier County. It also does not provide their ages, vaccination status, possible exposure sites or places of treatment.
