Cape Coral lifted the precautionary boil water notice near 2614 SW Santa Barbara Place at 7:40 a.m. Friday.

The city's rescission record says the notice began Tuesday after a water main break and affected drinking water. The area no longer appears in the active layer of the city's live water notice map.

What changes for customers

Customers covered by the notice near 2614 SW Santa Barbara Place no longer need to follow precautionary boil water steps for that incident.

Two separate Cape Coral notices remain active. They are near 419 SW 52nd Street and 2007 SE 13th Street. Residents near those areas should continue to check the city map for the exact boundaries and follow the notices until Cape Coral rescinds them.
