Cape Coral lifts boil water notices near SE 5th Street and SE 27th Terrace; one city notice remains

Cape Coral lifted two precautionary boil water notices Thursday morning, one near 1923 SE 5th Street and another near 129 SE 27th Terrace.
The city records carry rescission times of 8:12 a.m. and 8:18 a.m. Both notices began Sunday after water main breaks and affected drinking water. Neither area appears in the active layer of the city's live water notice map.
What changes for customers
Customers covered by the two rescinded areas no longer need to follow precautionary boil water steps for those incidents.
One separate Cape Coral notice remains active near 2614 SW Santa Barbara Place. Residents near that area should continue to check the city map for the exact boundary and follow the notice until Cape Coral rescinds it.
