The City of Cape Coral lifted the precautionary boil water notice near 142 SE 15th Place at 10:42 a.m. Friday.
The city opened the area Wednesday morning after a water main break. Its rescission record now marks the notice as ended, and the address no longer appears on the active layer of the city's water notice map.
What changes for SE 15th Place customers
Customers covered by this notice no longer need to boil tap water for drinking, cooking or other consumption because of this incident.
The original notice remained in effect for a little more than two days.
Four newer areas remain active
The closing city query returned four active areas. Two are near 906 Country Club Boulevard and 801 SW 51st Terrace. Two more are near 413 SE 16th Terrace and 607 SE 46th Terrace.
