Cape Coral lifted the precautionary boil water notice near 2735 Santa Barbara Boulevard at 7:57 a.m. Wednesday. The city still lists three separate active notices.

Cape Coral lifted the precautionary boil water notice near 2735 Santa Barbara Boulevard at 7:57 a.m. Wednesday.
The city's rescission record says the notice began Sunday after a water main break and affected drinking water. The area no longer appears in the active layer of the city's live water notice map.
What changes for customers
Customers covered by the 2735 Santa Barbara Boulevard notice no longer need to follow precautionary boil water steps for that incident.
Three separate Cape Coral notices remain active. They are near 1923 SE 5th Street, 129 SE 27th Terrace and 2614 SW Santa Barbara Place. Residents near those areas should continue to check the city map for the exact boundaries and follow the notices until Cape Coral rescinds them.
