The Florida Governmental Utility Authority currently lists four boil-water notices in effect across parts of Lehigh Acres.
The notices cover separate customer groups:
- Fifty-two customers near 116 Stetson Street after a four-inch main break on Thursday.
- Three hundred seventy-two customers near 217 Maple Avenue North after a Thursday main break.
- Sixty-four customers near 310 Cleveland Avenue after a four-inch main break Wednesday.
- Two hundred seventy-three customers across a group of central Lehigh Acres streets following planned valve and water-main work Tuesday.
FGUA says repairs to the three breaks are complete. Each notice remains in effect while the utility waits for laboratory testing that supports rescission.
Affected customers should bring water used for drinking, cooking, food preparation, brushing teeth or making ice to a rolling boil for one minute. Bottled water can be used instead.
The planned-work notice includes parts of East Third Street, Fifth Avenue, Lincoln Avenue, Greenwood Avenue, Eighth Avenue, Lake Avenue, Maple Avenue North, Highland Avenue and North Avenue, plus Oaklawn, Thistle, Briar and Rosewood courts and Maycrest and Richland roads. Customers should check the FGUA outage page and any direct notice they received for their address.
