A Lee County pursuit ended with a deputy striking a Lehigh Acres barbershop, Kendall Brandt reported for Gulf Coast News.
The outlet reports that deputies pursued a driver from Fort Myers into Lehigh Acres before the arrest. It says a deputy struck Da Barber Shop during the response and that sheriff's office leaders said the agency would work to cover the repairs through its insurance.
The Lee County Sheriff's Office booking record lists three charges under case 26CF017550: leaving the scene of a property-damage crash, high-speed fleeing or eluding, and a third or subsequent suspended-license violation. The charges are allegations and have not been adjudicated.
