Two National Weather Service flood advisories cover parts of Lee County Wednesday night. The southwestern Lee advisory, including Villas, Cypress Lake, Pine Manor, McGregor, San Carlos Park, Iona, Estero and Pine Island communities, runs until 11:45 p.m. The earlier Cape Coral-Fort Myers-area advisory runs until 11:30 p.m.

Two flood advisories are active across parts of Lee County Wednesday night.
The newer advisory covers southwestern Lee through 11:45 p.m., including Villas, Cypress Lake, Pine Manor, McGregor, San Carlos Park, Harlem Heights, Three Oaks, Iona, Estero and communities on Pine Island. Cape Coral is included in both products.
The Weather Service said 3 to 4 inches of rain had fallen in the southwestern area by 9:39 p.m., with another 1 to 2 inches expected. Minor flooding was ongoing or expected to begin shortly, with water possible over roads and in low-lying or poor-drainage areas.
The earlier advisory runs through 11:30 p.m. and includes Cape Coral, Fort Myers, North Fort Myers, Gateway and nearby communities, along with parts of Charlotte and southeastern DeSoto counties. That product reported 2 to 4 inches had fallen by 8:52 p.m. and another 1 to 2 inches was expected.
Do not enter flooded roads. Water can be harder to see after dark.
