Northbound I-75 shuts over Collier Boulevard from 11 tonight until six on Tuesday morning while crews pour the new bridge deck, with every through driver sent off at exit 101 and straight back on

Northbound Interstate 75 will close over Collier Boulevard tonight while crews pour the deck of the new bridge.

The Florida Department of Transportation puts the window at 11 p.m. on Monday, 31 August, through 6 a.m. on Tuesday, 1 September. Drivers heading north are to leave the interstate at CR 951, Collier Boulevard, exit 101, and rejoin northbound at the same interchange.

Southbound I-75 is not being closed. The department does say to expect overnight lane closures in both directions over State Road 951 while crews move barrier wall and carry on widening the northbound bridge, so the junction will be untidy in both directions even where it is open.

The wider job

The overnight pour is one night inside a much longer interchange rebuild at exit 101. The department's report also carries a closure that has nothing to do with tonight and everything to do with the daily drive: the right turn lane from southbound Collier Boulevard onto westbound State Road 84, Davis Boulevard, is shut through job completion, which the department expects at the end of 2026.

Gulf Coast News reported the overnight closure on Sunday.

One caution about the timing. The RoadWatch report this rests on is dated 27 August, and a bridge deck pour is weather-dependent work that has been rescheduled on this project before. If you are planning around it, the department's own page is the thing to check tonight rather than this one.
