A crash that blocked westbound Daniels Parkway at Goldenwood Drive in Fort Myers no longer appears on the Florida Highway Patrol's active incident board.
The patrol received the call at 5.52 a.m. Tuesday. At 6.04 a.m., the board still classified it as a vehicle crash with a roadblock and said westbound Daniels Parkway was blocked. A new direct check at 6.08 a.m. returned 33 active incidents statewide and no longer included the Daniels Parkway row.
The record does not say how many lanes are blocked. It also gives no injury information, vehicle count, cause or detour. Nothing beyond the dispatch entry has been released, and no responsibility is assigned here.
Removal from the board means the patrol closed its dispatch entry. It does not by itself establish that every westbound lane has reopened, because another agency could still be managing traffic at the scene.
