Florida Highway Patrol no longer lists the Alico Road crash at Royal Queen Boulevard in Fort Myers on its active incident board. Earlier Wednesday, October 14, the agency reported that the crash blocked an outside lane.

The entry was absent from the populated statewide board at 9:20 a.m. Eastern. FHP did not post a clearing time, so the removal does not establish exactly when the lane reopened.

The earlier notice did not specify the direction of travel, injuries or the number of vehicles involved. It described a lane blockage, not a closure of the entire road.
