Cape Coral lists two southwest boil water areas and lifts notices at two southeast locations

Two southwest Cape Coral areas remain under precautionary boil water notices Tuesday morning, according to the city utility map. The active areas are near 1527 SW 53rd Terrace and 713 SW 49th Lane. Both follow water main breaks recorded Monday.

The city has also rescinded the notices near 1123 SE 14th Street and 2906 SE Santa Barbara Place. Its records date both rescissions to Monday, October 12.

These are mapped areas, not citywide notices. Nearby customers should check the boundary around their property on the city map. Cape Coral directs affected customers to bring water for consumption to a rolling boil for one minute or use bottled water until a rescission is issued.
