Cape Coral lists a new precautionary boil water area near 2906 SE Santa Barbara Place after a water main break.
The city's active boil water layer logged the area shortly before 2 p.m. Friday. The record identifies drinking water as the affected system and carries no rescission date.
A second area near 1123 SE 14th Street also remains active. The city logged that record Thursday morning, and it likewise has no rescission date.
The map shows affected polygons around the listed locations. Residents should use the city map to determine whether a specific property is inside either notice area.
Cape Coral's standing guidance is to bring water to a rolling boil for one minute before using or consuming it, or to use bottled water instead, until the notice is rescinded.
