Cape Coral lifts four boil water notices and clears its active map

Cape Coral has lifted four precautionary boil water notices.

The former mapped areas are near 1215 SE 16th Street, 325 SE 30th Street, 621 SW 32nd Terrace and 2206 SW 14th Avenue.

The city's rescission records say each notice followed a water main break. They carry ending times between 8:50 and 9:03 a.m. Wednesday. None of the four areas remains in the active layer of the city's live water notice map.

What changes for customers

Customers covered by the four former areas no longer need to boil tap water under these notices. Cape Coral's active layer now contains no boil water area.

The city can add a new notice after another break or service interruption. Residents can use the live map to check the latest mapped boundary and status.
