Britain opened applications Thursday for electricity-cost relief aimed at more than 10,000 manufacturers, with submissions due by November 30.
The government guidance sets four tests. A business must be registered at Companies House, operate in an eligible sector, make eligible products in Great Britain and use at least 33 megawatt-hours of grid electricity a year at the site.
The scheme exempts eligible electricity from three policy costs. Relief for the Renewables Obligation and Feed-in Tariffs begins in April 2027, followed by the Capacity Market exemption in October.
The government says the combined saving could reach 25 percent of electricity costs.
