Shin Hanul reactor schedules move to 70 months from 56, KED Global reports
Two reactor builds now carry a 70 month schedule.
Ri-Ahn Kim at KED Global first reported Thursday morning (subscription) that South Korea's limit on working hours added 14 months to construction of Shin Hanul Units 3 and 4. The schedule had been 56 months.
Each advanced pressurized water reactor is rated at 1,400 megawatts. Kim based the report on data from state-run Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power.
