Palo Alto Networks revenue rose 34 percent, while a $254m profit turned into a $282m loss
Palo Alto Networks' quarterly revenue rose 34 percent to $3.41bn, but the cybersecurity company swung to a $282m GAAP loss from a $254m profit a year earlier, its Tuesday filing showed.
The difference is substantial. GAAP operating income fell to $172m from $497m, while the company's adjusted measure rose to $1.0bn from $768m. Its reconciliation excludes several recurring and transaction-related expenses from the adjusted figure.
Next-generation security annual recurring revenue rose 63 percent to $9.10bn. Remaining performance obligations increased 34 percent to $21.2bn, and operating cash flow climbed to $1.4bn from $1.0bn.

The company expects fiscal 2027 revenue of $14.10bn to $14.20bn, growth of 23 to 24 percent. That outlook includes a full year of CyberArk and the acquisition of Console announced with the results.
