Notice 2026-41 appeared in Internal Revenue Bulletin 2026-29 on July 13. It publishes the calendar year 2026 inflation adjustment factor for the section 45U zero-emission nuclear power production credit at 1.0539. For the section 45V clean hydrogen production credit, the factor is 1.0929 and the applicable amount is $0.656. The section 45Z clean fuel production credit uses the same 1.0929 factor, with a base applicable amount of 22 cents and an alternative amount of $1.09. Each factor is a fraction: the gross domestic product implicit price deflator for the preceding calendar year over the deflator for 1992, using the most recent Commerce Department revision published before March 15. The numbers feed the computation. They are not themselves a credit.
