FDOT's I-75 widening hearings on October 27 and 28 will focus on auxiliary-lane capacity, while noise-wall information remains deferred, according to the agency's project record and the Village of Estero notice.
The project runs from Golden Gate Parkway to Alico Road through the Bonita Springs and Estero corridor.
When and where to comment
The October 27 in-person session is at Vanderbilt Presbyterian Church, 1225 Piper Boulevard, Naples. Materials are available from 4 p.m.; the presentation and verbal comments begin at 4:30 p.m.
The October 28 virtual session begins at 6 p.m. on Microsoft Teams, with advance registration.
Estero's notice says comments must be received or postmarked by November 10 to enter the formal hearing record. Residents can use the FDOT project page or email Melody.Joyner@dot.state.fl.us. All comment methods receive equal weight.
What the hearing leaves unresolved
FDOT explicitly excludes noise-wall information from these sessions and says it will provide that information when available. The hearing notice announces no new noise-wall eligibility decision. Our I-75 project record keeps the corridor's scope and dated updates together.
