I-75 widening: Golden Gate Parkway to Alico Road

The 21-mile Collier and Lee County project, its public hearings and dated changes, drawn from FDOT and local government records.

Last checked: October 13, 2026.

The Florida Department of Transportation identifies this corridor as project 452544-1, running from north of Golden Gate Parkway to south of Alico Road. Its project record lists a 21-mile widening project in the construction phase.

What FDOT proposes

The agency lists two express lanes in each direction from Golden Gate Parkway to Corkscrew Road, with one express lane through the Corkscrew Road interchange. The scope also includes auxiliary lanes between Golden Gate Parkway and Alico Road, accelerated congestion-relief lanes between Immokalee Road and Bonita Beach Road, and resurfacing.

FDOT lists a diverging diamond interchange at Immokalee Road, direct express-lane access at Vanderbilt Beach Road, ramp modifications and noise walls where locations qualify. The listing describes the project scope; it does not establish that each component is complete.

Hearings and comment deadline

The October hearings concern auxiliary-lane capacity. FDOT says noise-wall information will be provided later.
