Firefighters responded to a house fire on Island Road in Fort Myers Shores late Tuesday afternoon, according to reporting by Tyler Watkins and Nicole Kikkert at Gulf Coast News.
The outlet reported major damage to the home along the Caloosahatchee River. It said the residents escaped unharmed and that tanker trucks were bringing additional water to firefighters.
