Estero Village Council adopted a $72,973,080 budget for fiscal 2027 on September 23 and kept the village property tax rate at 0.7300 mills.
Resolution 2026-26 divides the budget among four funds. The general fund is $13,461,950, special revenue funds total $2,619,130, the debt service fund is $2,962,000 and the capital projects fund is $54,280,000.
The adopted capital budget is about three quarters of total appropriations. The village's overall-funds table also anticipates $62 million in debt proceeds, which are financing sources rather than property tax revenue.
Resolution 2026-25 sets the final operating millage at 0.7300. One mill is one dollar for each $1,000 of taxable value, so the village rate equals 73 cents per $1,000.
The resolution says the rate is unchanged from last year and 0.49 percent below the rolled-back rate of 0.7336. Florida uses the rolled-back rate to show whether a taxing authority will collect more from existing property after value changes. The village's certified taxable value is $10,350,377,390.
The final vote completes the process that began with Estero's proposed rate in July. Other village decisions and records are collected on the Estero page.
