Cape Coral has lifted two precautionary boil water notices.

The city's rescission records identify the areas near 423 SW 52nd Street and 224 NE 17th Avenue. Both notices followed water main breaks and ended shortly after 10 a.m. Saturday. Neither area remains in the active layer of Cape Coral's live water notice map.

What changes for customers

Customers covered by the two rescinded areas no longer need to follow precautionary boil water steps for those incidents.

One separate city notice remains active near 3824 SW 3rd Avenue. Residents near that area should check the city map for the exact boundary and continue following the notice until Cape Coral rescinds it.
