Vietnam says third-quarter GDP grew 9.95 percent from a year earlier
Vietnam's economy grew an estimated 9.95 percent in the third quarter from a year earlier, according to the national statistics office.
That was faster than the office's 8.15 percent estimate for the first quarter and 8.81 percent for the second, while GDP across the first nine months was up 9.01 percent from the same period in 2025.
Industry and construction grew 12.50 percent in the third quarter. Services grew 9.54 percent, while agriculture, forestry and fisheries grew 4.21 percent.
The hurdle is higher.
Prime Minister Le Minh Hung said growth must exceed 12.5 percent in the final three months to meet the government's double-digit target for the year. That is a policy goal, not an official forecast.
