UK GDP grew 0.4 percent in July as all three main sectors rose
UK gross domestic product grew 0.4 percent in July from June, the Office for National Statistics estimated Friday. Services rose 0.4 percent, production 0.2 percent and construction 0.1 percent.
Output also grew 0.4 percent in the three months to July compared with the three months to April. That was the eighth consecutive period of three month growth. GDP stood 1.6 percent above July 2025.
No periods were open for revision in this release. The next monthly estimate, due October 15, will reopen the full series for the annual Blue Book revisions.
