Uber closes €4.5bn five-part bond sale with maturities through 2046
Uber completed a €4.5 billion five-part bond sale on Tuesday, the company disclosed. The shortest tranche is €750 million of 3.750 percent notes due in 2029. The longest is €750 million of 5.250 percent notes due in 2046.
Three €1 billion tranches fill the middle. They pay 4.125 percent to 2032, 4.375 percent to 2034 and 4.750 percent to 2038.
That is a long ladder. All five tranches are senior unsecured obligations, and Uber said the proceeds will go to general corporate purposes. The filing does not name an acquisition, buyback or other specific use.
