Tyler Technologies entered a prearranged plan to repurchase as much as $260 million of its stock, the company disclosed. Purchases may begin September 16 and run through October 29.
The board authorized $1 billion in February, replacing older approvals, then added another $1.5 billion in July. Tyler said $1.416 billion remained available as of September 15. The new plan sets a window and ceiling, but no share count or purchase price.
That is one slice. The broader authorization has no expiration date. Tyler said repurchases are generally funded with existing cash and borrowings under its credit facility.
