Sysco adds a $750m term facility for the pending Jetro acquisition
Sysco arranged a $750 million senior unsecured delayed draw term facility with CoBank and other lenders.
The financing splits evenly between six year and eight year tranches and allows multiple advances over one year. Sysco said proceeds can support general corporate purposes, including acquisitions, and it expects to use part of the facility for the cash portion of its previously announced Jetro transaction.
The deal has not closed.
Sysco also granted performance share awards with target values of $2 million for chief executive Kevin Hourican and $1 million for interim finance chief Brandon Sewell. Both awards are forfeited if the deal fails to close.
