Swiss prices held flat in September as annual inflation reached 1 percent
One percent.
That was Switzerland's annual inflation rate in September, the Federal Statistical Office reported Thursday. The consumer price index was unchanged from August at 101.5, with December 2025 set equal to 100.
Fuel prices rose. The office identified heating oil, petrol and diesel among the monthly increases.
Travel moved the other way. International package holidays, car rentals, car sharing, hotels and supplementary accommodation became cheaper, leaving the overall index flat.
