$2bn more.

Motorola Solutions increased its share repurchase authorization by $2bn, according to a Form 8-K filed Wednesday. About $600m remained under the previous authorization at the end of the second quarter.

That puts the available authorization at about $2.6bn before any later purchases. The filing says the total authorized since July 2011 is now $20bn.

There is no expiration date. The company may buy shares in the open market or through privately negotiated transactions, subject to market conditions, but it set no timetable and made no commitment to use the authorization.
