Korea's real income rose 3.1 percent while output grew 0.6 percent
3.1 percent. That was South Korea's increase in real gross national income from the first quarter.
Real gross domestic product rose 0.6 percent, unchanged from the advance estimate, the Bank of Korea reported Tuesday morning in Seoul. Manufacturing grew 1.4 percent and services increased 1.0 percent, while construction fell 1.9 percent.
The central bank attributed the gap between income and output to larger trading gains as the terms of trade improved. Real net factor income from abroad declined.
The household net saving ratio rose to 9.7 percent from 8.8 percent. The broader gross saving ratio reached 45.6 percent.
