$11.75bn is the purchase price.

GE Aerospace agreed to buy Consolidated Precision Products from Warburg Pincus and Berkshire Partners, the company said in an SEC filing Tuesday. GE plans to use $7bn of cash and new debt for the balance, which implies about $4.75bn of borrowing before closing adjustments.

CPP makes castings and subassemblies for commercial aircraft, defense systems and industrial turbines. It has about 6,600 employees across more than 20 facilities. GE has been a customer for more than 15 years.

The companies expect the transaction to close in the second half of 2027, subject to regulatory approvals. GE values CPP at about 18 times projected 2027 EBITDA including expected net synergies, or about 26 times without them.
