FIRY sold its entire stake in Exit Games for $55 million in cash, ending a five-year investment in the maker of Photon multiplayer networking technology.
The stake is now gone.
FIRY said the holding represented about 10.5 percent of Exit Games. The company, then named Skillz, invested $50 million in July 2021. It put the realized return at about 1.1 times the original investment.
The transaction closed Friday, October 2, and FIRY said it received the proceeds in full. The filing does not give a tax effect, a gain for accounting purposes, or a specific plan for the cash. FIRY said the proceeds add balance sheet flexibility.
