Fair Isaac will eliminate about 15 percent of positions across the company, according to a Form 8-K accepted Tuesday.
Notifications began this week.
Management committed to the plan on October 1. The company expects about $27m of pretax charges in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026, consisting of severance and related costs.
Substantially all of that amount is expected to become future cash spending.
The plan reduces management layers, simplifies the operating structure and combines product development with AI. Fair Isaac expects it to be substantially complete by the end of the third quarter of fiscal 2027.
