Euro area services production rebounds 0.4% in July

Euro area services production rose 0.4 percent in July after a 0.3 percent decline in June, Eurostat said Wednesday. The EU measure increased 0.3 percent. Both were 1.5 percent above July 2025.

The rebound was broad.

Professional, scientific and technical services led the euro-area monthly gain at 1.1 percent. Real estate rose 0.7 percent, accommodation and food services 0.6 percent, information and communication 0.4 percent, and administrative and support services 0.3 percent. Transportation and storage fell 0.1 percent.

Eurostat revised the EU's June monthly decline to 0.3 percent from 0.2 percent. The euro-area June decline was unchanged at 0.3 percent.
