Drax now expects full year adjusted EBITDA near the top of analysts' £680 million to £711 million range, the UK power producer said Thursday. The company cited strong performance in July and August and the addition of Bluefield Solar Income Fund from August 1.

Drax completed the Bluefield acquisition on July 31 for £561 million, with an enterprise value of £1.082 billion. The portfolio brings about 0.9 gigawatts of operating solar and wind capacity and a 2.9 gigawatt development pipeline.

Capital expenditure guidance remains £210 million to £250 million. Drax expects net debt to adjusted EBITDA above its long term target of about two times in 2026, before returning around that level by the end of 2027.
