The advisory covers North Naples, Naples Park, Vineyards, Quail Creek Estate and Pelican Bay, where the Weather Service says minor flooding may develop in low spots and places that drain poorly.

The National Weather Service office in Miami said minor flooding was ongoing or expected to begin shortly after thunderstorms produced heavy rain. Water may collect in low-lying and poor-drainage areas.

Between 1 and 3 inches of rain had fallen by 9:37 p.m., and another 1 to 3 inches was expected across the advisory area.
