A grass fire is burning near Bayshore Road in North Fort Myers, and five streets have been told to be ready to leave.
Gulf Coast News reports that the fire sparked in the area near Bayshore Road, according to the Lee County Sheriff's Office, and that deputies are on scene to assist local fire departments. WINK News carries the same account, also attributed to the sheriff's office.
Potential evacuation notifications have been issued for residents on Aqua Vista Lane, Deuce Road, Ace Road, Pioneer Road and Wayne Drive.
