Nine homes on Lantern Lane are under a boil water notice after a water main leak beneath Galleon Drive, according to a City of Naples alert.

The city says the leak has been contained and water service has been restored. The boil water notice was hand-delivered to the nine affected homes and remains the current instruction for those residents.

WINK News, in coverage credited to its digital team, also reported the notice.

Crews are scheduled to make emergency water main and road repairs on Galleon Drive between Half Moon Walk and Lantern Lane from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday.
