FGUA lifts the Lake Fairways boil water advisory after tests clear 90 North Fort Myers homes
The precautionary boil water advisory for 90 homes in the Lake Fairways community has been lifted. FGUA says laboratory testing was negative and residents may use their water normally.

The precautionary boil water advisory for 90 homes in the Lake Fairways community has been lifted.
The Florida Governmental Utility Authority says the notice issued after a September 2 water main break is no longer in effect. The authority says laboratory testing was negative and the water is safe to drink.
Residents may resume normal water use. That ends the instruction to boil tap water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth and washing dishes.
The notice covered Congressional Court cul de sacs 13 through 17 and Innisbrook Court cul de sac 35 in North Fort Myers. FGUA says affected customers are also being notified by call or text.
